St. Paul's United Church of Christ
United Way of the Capital Region partnered with St. Paul’s United Church of Christ on a project in June to expand their community garden. The church has been growing fresh produce and delivering it to New Hope Ministries. Expansion of the garden will allow them to grow even more healthy produce for families in need.
Thanks to your time and amazing energy, the Community Garden project on Saturday was a huge success. The fence was built, an irrigation system installed, planting completed and breakfast boxes packed that will feed 500 children this summer. We completed everything on the work list and even had time for photos with Tony the Tiger! Here are some links to news coverage from the day:
